Gerband 586 Sealing Tape is a versatile and high-performance airtight tape designed for use across a variety of surfaces. Featuring a stretchy, tear-resistant LD-Polyethylene foil, this sealing tape offers excellent adhesion and durability, ensuring long-term airtightness in multiple applications. Whether used on wood, gypsum, metals, or plastics, the high-tack polyacrylate adhesive guarantees a secure seal.

Key Features:

Base Material – LD-Polyethylene foil, stretchy green for excellent flexibility.
Adhesive – Solvent-free acrylate dispersion for high bonding strength.
Reinforced Structure – Polyester lattice layer provides additional tear resistance.
Temperature Resistance – Functional from -40°C to +80°C, ensuring reliability in a range of conditions.
UV Resistance – Up to 3 months of protection from UV exposure.
Adhesive Strength – 35N per 25mm (DIN EN 1939).
Versatile Substrates – Suitable for wood (especially hard wood-based panels), gypsum fibreboard, plasterboards, cement fibreboards, metals, hard plastics, and electric cables.
Thickness – 0.28mm without covering.
Application Temperature – Recommended processing temperature between +5°C and +40°C.
